Gas exchange systems of two-stroke engines

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the development and critical evaluation of the gas exchange system of two-stroke engines. The aim of the work was to use research to concentrate various options for gas exchange system of two-stroke engines of various power categories, to describe individual solutions and point out the advantages and disadvantages of individual systems and then outline possible future developments in this area.

Piston for Two Stroke Motorcycle Engine

This bachelor work deals with a proposal and construction solution of a piston for two stroke motorcycle engine. The thesis is focused to basic dimension of piston, strength calculation of the main stressing places of piston and some possible construction enhances. Part of this work is also short summary of development for two stroke motorcycle pistons.

Design of Diesel Aircraft Engine One-cylinder Engine with Contra Rotating Pistons

Diploma thesis deals with design of crankshaft for two stroke opposed piston diesel engine. In the theoretical research part a history, comparison with competitive engines in nowadays light aircrafts and the advantages of opposed piston engines are mentioned. In the practical part the balancing is chosen and CAD model of crankshaft is designed. Geometry of this model is than checked for fatigue damage fallout. In the final part was chosen the propeller and appropriate reduction gearbox.
